About This Project

Jacques Herzog and Pierre de Meuron are Swiss architects who design buildings that challenge cliches in architecture. They achieve this by exposing the hidden qualities of architectural materials and by juxtaposing opposites in their work: solidity and permeability, density and lightness, inside and outside. This project addresses their approach by challenging the conventional packaging and typographic design of information and blurring inside and outside, front and back, and recto and verso.
